World famous jazz and regional rock stars at CUE Podgorica
Hotel CUE Podgorica at the end of June was home to musicians who performed at the “Made In New York Jazz Festival 2023”. Thus, our guests were three-time winner of the Grammy Award, Dee Dee Bridgewater, jazz and pop artist from Belgrade Bisera Veletanlić, legendary drummer and member of the “Drum Hall of Fame” Dennis Chambers, prominent jazz vocalist from New York Ashley Pezzotti, pianist Aaron Goldberg , jazz bassist Santi Debriano, saxophonist Yaacov Maiman, Alexis Baro (trumpet), jazz pianist and composer Vasil Hadžimanov and guitarist Goran Potić.

The festival which starting this year has been officially recognized as a festival of special importance for the culture of Montenegro, we can say with certainty that it is one of the most significant events in the country.
Furthermore, the CUE Podgorica hotel hosted regional rock stars at the second Zabjelo Culture Festival which took place on June 9th and 10th, 2023 at the Zabjelo “Nikola Šćepović” football club stadium.
A lot of good vibes were brought by six regional stars from the former republic of Jugoslavija as well as two representatives of the Montenegrin music scene. Good vibes were also transferred to the hotel, where we hosted the members of the cult rock and punk band Zabranjeno fušenje, the heroes of the regional alter rock scene Kanda, Kodža and Nebojša, the favorites of the Montenegrin audience, the band Zoster from Mostar, the fantastic IDA PRESTER and Lollobrigida. The region’s leading alter pop name Letu Štuke, the Belgrade rapcore-crossover band Sunshine, as well as the dear rap-rock band TBF from Split.
“Made In New York Jazz Festival 2023” was particularly significant because part of the money from each sold ticket has been diverted for humanitarian purposes to the “Ognjen Rakočević” foundation.
Vučić Ćetković, Director of the Museums and Galleries of Podgorica, welcomed the attendees, expressing satisfaction that Podgorica has another space showcasing artists from around the world.

The “God Save the King” exhibition offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in portraits of the British royal family and experience Laura’s extraordinary ability to capture the spirit and evolution of these fascinating personalities.
